WolkaStore

WolkaStore's brand and online store, designed and built from nothing, with prices that follow the USDT rate. Sales rose 72% the month after launch.
WolkaStore (ولکا استور) sells digital games and goods: gift cards, game accounts, service subscriptions. When they came to me they had no website and no brand worth the name. I designed the identity, then designed and built the store myself. The month after it launched, sales rose 72%.
1. The brand
A store asking people to pay online for things they can't hold has to look trustworthy before anything else, and still feel like games. So the mark is a rounded shape with a cut-out wave, the wordmark leans forward in italics, and the palette is bright pastels held together by black.
2. The store, designed and built
There was no website to redesign, so I designed one and built it. Next.js on the front. Saleor for the catalogue, checkout and orders, with an admin app of my own on top for payouts, wallets and partners. Strapi for everything editorial, from the blog and FAQs to banners and loyalty tiers.
Prices were the hard part. With inflation this high, a price set in the morning can be wrong by the evening. So every twenty minutes the store reads the live USDT rate, along with the rates of the currencies its cards are bought in, and reprices everything. Each product has its own pricing formula, checked before it runs and rounded up to the nearest 100 toman. If the rate feed goes quiet, the store keeps selling on the last known rate instead of stopping.
Around that sit the parts a store like this lives on: a wallet customers top up and spend from, Zarinpal and Zibal for payments, a referral scheme that pays creators a commission on every sale, and identity checks with liveness and card verification, required for larger purchases. Anything that touches money or identity has tests behind it: 89 test files and counting.
The hardest part wasn't the shop. It was keeping it reachable from inside a filtered network. Email had to move to an HTTPS API because the mail ports are blocked, and a CDN that mangled the site's own traffic cost four days before every server-side call was routed around it.
3. What changed
Sales rose 72% in September 2026, the first month with the new store.
